A work of art for those who know that wonder does not exist only on land, but also beneath the surface: in deep waters, along the coasts, and in the hidden corners of the Mediterranean that almost no one notice.
50% of the proceeds will be donated to the projects of Andrea and Marco Spinelli, with whom I collaborated for nine months to create this map.
This illustration brings together 44 shark species permanently present in the Mediterranean Sea, drawn across the map of their waters and, wherever possible, placed within their specific habitats: from the open sea and deep waters to the sandy seabeds inhabited by angel sharks.
A way to reveal a more hidden, ancient and living Mediterranean, populated by animals that are often feared, yet still far too little understood and protected.
